From 21st to 23rd September 2023 I will be participating to the 27th AISNA Biennal Conference in Narni, Italy.
I am especially pleased because the paper I submitted for the panel on “Shaping an Image of the Self: Identity Formation as Resistance and Possibility” has been accepted, and so for the first time I will not only be attending the conference, but also speaking!
My paper will be on Moby-Dick (of course!) and will focus on Stubb’s identity and the way the character overcomes the challenges of extractivism through the non-human.
